At
The First Congregational Church of Plympton, MA, worship is central
to the life of our church.
In worship we gather to hear that God loves us.
This Good News is expressed in scripture readings, during the sermon
and through singing the hymns of faith, and in the music of our
choir and soloists. We join in worship together and after the Children's
Story, the children go to their Church School classes.
Members, friends, and visitors are appreciative
of their time in worship to give thanks, to reflect on meaning of
their faith, and to find direction for their continued growth in
faith.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday
of each month and invite all people who desire a relationship with
Jesus Christ to participate.
It is during worship that we celebrate the sacrament
of baptism. This is an important start in a child's faith journey
as parents, Godparents and members of the Congregation pledge to
help teach the important lessons of faith as a child grows physically,
emotionally and spiritually.
Join with us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10
am. (We offer Hearing Assist devices)
